CLARENCE  W. ASWELL
     Born April 15, 1882 Died August 23, 1949

CHOUDRANT - Funeral services for C. W. Aswell, 63, who died at 5:30 a.m
Tuesday, August 23, 1949 at his home here, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in
;the First Baptist Church of Choudrant, with the Rev. R. A. Wiley, pastor of
the church officiating. Burial was in the Longstraw Cemetery. 

Mr. Aswell was a retired farmer, and a life-long resident of Lincoln Parish. 

He is survived by his widow: Mrs. Lillie Emory Aswell; three sons: W. L.
Aswell, Howard Aswell and Clarence W. "C. W." Aswell, Jr., all of Choudrant;
two daughters: Mrs. A. R. Bennett of Eros; and Mrs. Cecil Edmiston of
Choudrant; one sister: Mrs. Nina Richardson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Funeral services were under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of
Ruston.
