	Mr. Speaker: Our deceased colleague, James B. Aswell, whose memory we 
honor today was born in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, December 23, 1869. He was 
the son of Benjamin W. and Elizabeth Lyles Aswell.
	The father, an honorable and patriotic citizen, was a solder in the 
Confederates States Army. ... (much on his accomplishments).
