J. W. Lipscomb, Rev. Wilson Watson and Rev. Richard Meek officiating. Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery in Douglas. Services will be under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Baker, a retired farmer died Wednesday, June 1, 1966 in Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston following a long illness. He was a native of Summerville, La, and a member of the Douglas Methodist Church. He is survived by six sons: Clayton Baker of Jasper, Texas, Clyde Baker of Port Arthur, Texas, Herbert Baker of Ruston, Louisiana, F. D. Baker of Ruston, Louisiana, Davis Baker of Choudrant, Louisiana, and Leon Baker of Calhoun, Louisiana; two daughters: Mrs. Myrtle Raley of Ruston, Louisiana, and Mrs. L. C. Mayo of Monroe, Louisiana; a brother: W. H. Baker of Jena, Louisiana; two sisters: Mrs. Mary Hair of Monroe, and Mrs. W. E. Akin of Sibley; twenty-one grandchildren; and thirty-seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George Heard, Harold Causey, Robert D. Baker, Roger Kaughman, Jerry Baker, Larry Baker, William Baker and Hale Walker. *************
