                          JIMMY BARRETT

Funeral Services for Mr. Jimmie N. Barrett, 51, of Choudrant will be held at 4
p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at the South Parkway Worship Center in Ruston,
with the Rev. Chris Witt officiating. Burial will be in the Choudrant Memorial
Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Home of Ruston. 

Mr. Barrett died at 4 a.m. Monday, March 9, 1992 at his residence in Choudrant
after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife: Carolyn Barrett of Choudrant; two sons: J. A.
Barrett of Vienna and Terry K. Tripp of Shreveport; three daughters: Vicki
Higdon of Lafayette, Frances Barrett of Choudrant and Tammie Burton of
Choudrant; one brother: W. C. Barrett of Choudrant; and nine grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 P.M. Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home and
until 2 p.m. Tuesday.
