The Ruston Daily Leader JAMES CLEON BELL Dubach Man Dies In Plant Blast DUBACH - Funeral services were scheduled her at 2 p.m. today for James Cleon Bell, 32, who was killed Sunday, November 29, 1970, in an explosion at the Monsanto Chemical Company's Luling plant. He was an operator at the plant. Services were planned in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. D. A. Doughty officiating with burial in the Hamilton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Ressie Carolyn Bell, a son: James Bell; a daughter: Sandra Bell; two sisters: Mrs. Billie Jane Fowler and Mrs. Patricia Ann Henley both of Luling; his parents: Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bell of Dubach; and his maternal grandmother: Mrs. Bessie King of Cotton Valley. Pallbearers for the services were Jimmy Broughton, Larry Wilkie, Charles Fuller, Charles Schultz, John Henley, Rex Price, Ronald Madden, and Don Pendergrass.
