HARVEL BENNETT Funeral Services for Mr. Harvel Bennett, 67, of Choudrant, La. will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, September 11, 1992 in Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, with Rev. Clay Armstrong and Rev. Jack Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Sibley Cemetery near Choudrant, La. with military honors. Mr. Bennett died Wednesday, September 9, 1992 at the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. Mr. Bennett was a native of Derry, La.; a former resident of Doyline, La.; a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and was awarded the bronze star. He was a devoted husband and father and a friend to many. He is survived by his wife: Elsie M. Bennett of Choudrant; five daughters and sons-in-law: Kathleen & Winfred Lonadier of Natchitoches, La., Noreen & Bill Rutledge of Natchitoches, La., Dorothy & Buddy Williams of Choudrant, La., Belinda & Jimmy Pesnell of Delhi, La., and Melodye & Charles Hooper of Minden, La.; his son and daughter-in-law: Harvel James & Patricia D. Bennett of Doyline, La.; four brothers: Albert Bennett and Robert Bennett, both of Natchitoches, La. Buford Bennett of Saline, La., and Van Bennett of Homer, La.; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be his five sons-in-law and nephew. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and friends. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. **************
