                       Mrs. Vera Bennett

 Graveside services for Mrs. Vera Bennett, 88, of Ruston, will be
held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3,1993, at Greenwood Cemetery,
under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Doug
McGuire will be officiating.

 Mrs. Bennett died Tuesday, March 2, 1993 following a brief
illness.

She had been a long time resident of Lincoln Parish, was a
retired Accountant for the Louisiana Department of Revenue, and a
member of the Baptist Church.

 Mrs.Bennett was preceded in death by her husband Allen Bennett.

 She is survived by one brother Frank Baxter of Ruston and
several nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers will be: T. C. Lyles, Lloyd Walker, Joe Williams,
Paul Harris, Jacob Pearce and David Abernathy

Visitation will be at Owens Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, from
noon until service time.
