     BERTON TED BODDIE

Berton Boddie succumbs to long illness. Services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday.

Mr. Berton Ted Boddie died at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 1969 in P & S Hospital
at the age of 53 (born February 21, 1914). 

Mr. Boddie,  a longtime resident of Shreveport lived at 828 College Street in
Shreveport and was the owner of Boddie's Auto Glass Service. He was a member
of Noel Memorial Methodist Church in Shreveport.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Survivors include his widow; two sons: Teddy B. Boddie and wife Barbara Fay
(White) Boddie of Shreveport, and Jimmy Lane Boddie of Shreveport; one
daughter Mrs. John P. Hoffman III of 721 Longleaf Road, Shreveport; five
brothers: O. W. Boddie of Harlington, Texas; E. N. Boddie of Alexandria,
Louisiana; Roy Boddie of Rockport, Texas; J. E. Boddie of 2546 Edgar Street,
Shreveport, Louisiana, Bob Boddie of Shreveport, Louisiana; and three
grandchildren..
