The Shreveport Times - February 16, 1968 DAN B. BODDIE Dan B. Boddie, 41, of 121 Atlantic Avenue died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 1968 at the Veterans Administration Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Boddie was a retired accountant and was a member of the American Legion. Services will be at 2: 30 p. m. Saturday, September 17, 1968. Burial will be in the Epps Cemetery in Shreveport under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. He is survived by two sons: Dan B. Boddie, Jr. and David Boddie both of Shreveport; one daughter Cathy Boddie of Shreveport; his mother: Mrs. Nick B. Boddie of Shreveport; three brothers: Joe Boddie of Shreveport, John Boddie of Alexandria, Virginia; and Marvin Boddie of Kuwait; one sister: Mrs. Sam Field of Atlanta, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Owen Adam, Rudy Tilley, H. H. Hoggard, Danny Honvick, Jack Cantwell, and Louis Davis.
