     MRS. LUNA BROOKS

Services for Mrs. Luna Brooks, 87 of Monroe will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July
11, 1988 at the Chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral home in Monroe with Rev. Don
Fletcher officiating. Entombment will be in Monroe Memorial Park Mausoleum
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home on Lamy Lane in Monroe.

Mrs. Brooks died July 8, 1988 at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport following a
short illness.

She was a native of Hico, Louisiana and was a member of the Reveille United
Methodist Church in Monroe. 

Survivors include three daughters: Mary Frances Webb of Kansas City, Missouri;
Jenny Gonzales of Monroe; and Fannie Fletcher of Shreveport; four sons: Ernest
W. Brooks of Baton Rouge, La.; Cecil A. Brooks of Quitman, LA.; Robert C.
Brooks of Merrero, LA.; and Fred T. Brooks of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; and a
number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
