     RITES TODAY FOR J. D. BROUGHTON OF DUBACH

Mr. J. D. Broughton, 73 of Dubach died at 9 a.m. Sunday, October 5, 1969 at
Lincoln General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Monday, October 5, 1969) at
Harmony Chapel Methodist Church with the Reverends Thomas Hillman and Leo Beck
officiating.

Burial will take place in the Henry Cemetery at Hico, Louisiana under the
direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of Ruston.

Survivors include two sons: Prentice Broughton and Cecil Broughton, both of
Dubach; two daughters Mrs. Aline Brazzel of Dubach and Mrs. Helen Prince of
Homer, La.; two sisters Mrs. Mae Miles of Hodge; and Mrs. Carrie Dean of
Ruston; one brother Ed Broughton of Dubach; 16 grandchildren and 4 great
grandchildren.
