Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Barham, pastor of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church where Mrs. Browning was a member Assisting will the Rev. Randy Lee. Burial will be in the Fellow-ship Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Rose-Neath Fu-neral Home in Homer. Mrs. Browning was a lifelong area resident and retired manager of Western Union. She was pre-ceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Browning; brother, Lavelle Britt and one grandson, Joel Hood. She died March 23, 2000. Survivors include one daugh-ter and son-in-law, Sara Jo & Ken-neth Hood of Homer; two grand-sons, Gregory Hood and wife, Linda and Britt Hood, three great -grandchildren, Renetta Hood, Brittney Hood, and Zachary Hood; two sisters, Mrs. Avis Hollis of Bernice, La. and Mrs. Lavera Jenkins of Dubach, La.; one niece, Kathryn Boyd and one nephew, Max Britt and many loving friends.
