L. "Buster" Caldwell Services for W. L. "Buster" Caldwell, 87, of Ruston, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2000, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. Officiating will be Rev. Fred Wideman, Rev. Rolly Walker and Dr. Doug McGuire. Interment will be in Harmony Chapel Cemetery in Hico under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Caldwell died May 30, 2000, in Ruston. Mr. Caldwell was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He served as a teacher, coach, principal, and supervisor in Lincoln Parish Schools. Mr. Caldwell was a proud native of Hico. He also served as a member of the Lion's Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Alma. Mr. Caldwell is survived by a son, Dr. Ronald Caldwell and wife Susan of Bristol, Tenn.; a daughter, Mymie Caldwell of Ruston; three grandchildren, Ronald David Caldwell, Jr., Bradley Alan Caldwell and Kristin Nicole Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Hale Memorial Bible Class. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2000, at the funeral home.
