EDD CHANDLER OF RUSTON DIES - RITES PENDING Edmond Howard Chandler, Sr. 82, a retired farmer of Ruston, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, January 5, 1970 at his residence following a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Lee Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery, near Ruston, La. Mr. Chandler was born on October 7, 1887. He was a native of Lincoln Parish and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Cora Hauver Chandler, who was born on October 9, 1888 and died on January 29, 1960. He is survived by four sons: Milton Chandler, Waylon Chandler and Edd Chandler, Jr. all of Ruston; and Levon Chandler of North Carolina; two daughters, Mrs. Lorene Berryman and Mrs. Dan Fallin, both of Ruston; one brother, Cleve Chandler of Camden, Arkansas.
