NATHAN GLENN CHIPMON

Memorial services for Nathan Glenn Chipmon, age 69, of Ruston, LA will be held 
at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. He was born 
September 12, 1944 in Jonestown, Mississippi and passed away April 11, 2014 in 
Ruston.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Annie Mae Brown and William Ellis 
Chipmon; sisters: Saline and Tassie; and brother: William.

Glenn loved to be outside gardening and enjoying nature. He was an avid sport 
fan especially of the New Orleans Saints. He also loved to play bluegrass and 
country music on the guitar.

He is survived by two daughters: Angela Chipmon Axton and Kelly Chipmon 
Alexandrou; step- daughters: Shelby, Sherri, Tammy and Donna; grandchildren: 
Justin, Courtney, and Chelsea Axton, Alexander, Angelica and Anthony 
Alexandrou and numerous step- grandchildren. He is also survived by sister: 
Joann; nieces: Dorothy “Thelma” Fuller, Jessie “Louise” Barmore and other 
numerous nieces and nephews.
