COOK SUCCUMBS TO BRIEF ILLNESS Mr. Daniel B. Cook, 75, retired dairyman of Ruston died Wednesday morning, April 8, 1970 at the Lincoln General Hospital following a brief illness. He was a native of Lincoln Parish and a member of the Cooktown Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home with the Rev. H. B. Fuller officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wayne LaForce. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, two sons, the Rev. Harold E. Cook of Junction City, Arkansas and David B. Cook of Magee, Mississippi, three daughters, Mrs. Frances Brown of Ruston, Mrs. Marie Pruitt and Mrs. Katherine Magee, both of Magee, Mississippi, three brothers, W. W. Cook of Clarksville, Arkansas, Dayton Cook and Clayton Cook, both or Ruston, one sister, Mrs. C. E. Grover of Mansfield, La, 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
