J. COOK Buried Sunday Mrs. A. J. Cook, age 58, died at her home at 11:45 Saturday night. She had lived in the Douglas Community in Ward four practically all her life and succumbed after an illness of seven months. Mrs. Cook is survived by her son, M. L. Thomas of Choudrant; two daughters, Mrs. Malcomb Emory and Miss Marjorie Cook. There are four step children: Mrs. R. D. McMillian of Port Arthur, A. W. Cook of Port Arthur, C. B. Cook of Los Angeles, CA, and W. M. Cook of Eros, LA. Mrs. Cook is also mourned by four sisters. She was buried in the Douglas Cemetery at 4 O'clok Sunday afternoon. B. T.
