Officiating will be Rev. Barry Joyner, Bro. Jon Lord, and Bro. Larry Grubbs. Interment will be in Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Cooper died November 25, 1999, in Ruston after a lengthy illness. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer L. "Bill" Cooper. Survivors include his mother, Nancy Inez Sanders Cooper; one son, Lynn Cooper; brothers and sisters, Gloria Morrow and husband James of Choudrant, Herschel Cooper and wife Madeline of Dubach, Betty Murphy and husband Harry of Dubach, Barbara Hanna and husband Dallas of Ruston, Nell Barmore and husband Don of Dubach, Ray Cooper and wife Sandra of Bernice, Judy Martin and husband Jackie of Dubach; a very special friend, Nina Martin of Choudrant; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Morrow, Doug Cooper, Allen Cooper, Ricky Barmore, Johnny Martin, and Johnny Pilgreen. Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Cooper, Jimmy Martin and Jeff Martin. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 26,1999, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. The family of Mr. Cooper would like to say a very special thanks to Hospice Care of Louisiana and to Alpine Guest Care Nursing Staff.
