Officiating was Rev. David Weeks, assisted by Rev. Charles Davis. Interment was in Bernice City Cemetery under the direction Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Bernice. Mrs. Davis died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000 in Bernice, La., after a lengthy illness. She had been a lifelong resident of Bernice. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bernice. Mrs. Davis was the secretary of Bernice High School for 24 years until her retirement in 1992. She attended Louisiana Tech University. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Lizzie Fallin, son Glen Davis, brother Joe Fallin and husband of 48 years, Maury Davis. Survivors include one daughter, Pat Evans of Ruston, La.; one grandson, Jay Evans and wife Denise of Pineville, La.; one great grandson, Hayden Evans of Pineville, La.; three sisters-in-law, Donna Fallin of Shelby, Mont,, Helen Davis of Dubach, La. and India Davis of Dubach, La. Pallbearers were Billy Henderson, Simon Pearson, W. C, Russell, Billy Ross O'Bannon, Dannie Nutt and Stan Elkins. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Micham and Buddy Riser.
