Officiating will be Bro. David Hastings. Interment will be in Vienna Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Delony died September 27, 1999, at her home in Ruston after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Delony was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, the owner-operator of Delony's Store in Vienna for 33 years, and was a member of Town and Country Garden Club. Her husband, W. D. "Hap" Delony, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Roy Delony and wife, Margaret of Ruston; two granddaughters, Daphne Taylor and husband, Kirk, of Ruston and Elise Heathman and husband, James of Katy, Texas; five great grandchildren, Daniel and Dustin Taylor of Ruston, and Claire, Thomas and Leslie Heathman of Katy, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Sue "Red" Larance of Dubach and Gladys Kasper of Ruston; and numerous friends and relatives. Pallbearers will be F. J. Armond, Steve Beard, Steve D. Colvin, George Johnson, Darrell Newsom and John Sutton. The family requests that any memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church building fund, 5200 Hwy. 167, Ruston, La., 71270. Family will receive friends at the funeral home between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 28,1999.
