Ruston Leader -Sunday-July 15, 1990. Mr. Robert Franklin. Funral
services for Mr. Robert J. "Pete" Franklin, 62, of Ruston were held at 2
p.m. Saturday at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug White
and the Rev. E. D. Morris officiating. Burial will be at Mineral Springs
Cemetery under the directions of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Franklin died Friday at the Veterans Admiinistration Hospital in
shreveport after a brief illness. He is survived by two brothers,
William " Bill" Franklin of Dubach and Elvis Elmo Franklin of Ruston;
and two sisters, Eula Otwell of Ruston and Annie Ruth McFearin of
Quitman.
