                        Marie Goolsby 

  Services for Marie Goolsby, 93, of Baton Rouge, formerly of
Ruston, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15,1999 in the
Rock Corner Baptist Church.  Officiat-ing will be Rev.  Charles
Harlan.

  Interment will be in the Min-eral Springs Cemetery under the
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

  Mrs. Goolsby died July 13,1999 in Baton Rouge after a lengthy
illness.

  Mrs. Goolsby was a member of Rock Corner Baptist Church.  She was
a retired sales lady with Murphy Co.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Goolsby and
daughter, Lucille Goolsby.

  Survivors include one daugh-ter, Glenda Ward of Baton Rouge; one
son, Butch Snell of Shreve-port; one sister, Estelle Johnson of
Shreveport; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nu-
merous nieces and nephews.

  Family will receive friends at ,the funeral home on Wednesday
between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00
