                    Dayton F. (Pete)Grafton

Services for Dayton F. (Pete) Grafton, 78, of Bernice, will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2000, in the Pisgah Baptist Church
in Bernice.  Officiating will be Rev.  A. W. Smart assisted by Rev. 
M. F. Copeland.

Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Grafton died January 25, 2000, in Ruston after a brief illness.

He was a member and deacon of Pisgah Baptist Church in Bernice.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maurice Kelley Grafton.

Survivors include one son, Robert Lee Grafton and wife Lynda of
Ruston; three sisters, Elese Grafton Locke of Shreveport, Opal
Grafton Brown of Mansfield and Evelyn Grafton Knapp of Leesville;
numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Pisgah Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Pisgah Baptist Church Building Fund in
Bernice.

Family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. at Pisgah Baptist
Church in Bernice.
