RUSTON, LA - Services for Myrlene Hammon, age 77, of Ruston, LA will be 
10:00 AM Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at Grace United Methodist Church with Dr. 
Alan Einsel officiating.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery under 
the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Hammon died Saturday, March 18, 2000 in Shreveport, LA following a brief illness.

Mrs. Hammon was a resident of Ruston for the past 50 years.  She was a retired 
beautician and receptionist for the city of Ruston.  Mrs. Hammon was a charter 
member of Grace United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Byron Eugene Hammon.

Survivors include her sons: Donald Gene Hammon and wife Maria of Ruston, LA, 
Gary Mi-chael Hammon and wife Pat of Redmond, WA; daughter: Chere Hammon Pickett 
and husband William of West Monroe; broth-er: Benny R. Weaver of Jones-boro, LA; 
sisters: Eunice Gard-ner of Bossier City, LA and Bobbie Almond of Silsbee, TX; 
four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fred Gard-ner, Jason Hamblin, David Hammon, Rodney Weaver, 
Ed-die Weaver, Doug Almond and Danny Almond.

The Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 20, 
2000 at the funeral home.
