                    Charlene Riser Harrison

Services for Mrs. Charlene Riser Harrison, 80, of Ruston will be
held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2000, at Southside Baptist
Church in Ruston with Rev.  Larry Emory officiating.

Burial will be in Riser Cemetery under the direction of Owens
Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harrison died Wednesday, January 26, 2000, at Lincoln General
Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was a member of Southside
Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Harper Riser and
William A. "Bill" Harrison, and a daughter Elizabeth Riser
Pfeiffer.

Survivors include one son, Herman Harper Riser, Jr. of Ruston; two
daughters, Patsy Riser Duncan and husband Jack of Ruston and Tomie
Riser Bradshaw of Ruston; Two sisters, Sybil Towns, of Houston and
Irene Harp of Magnolia, Ark.; one aunt, Vivian Harvey of Ruston,
six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2000, at
the funeral home.
