Headline:  W.L. Harris Died Thursday
William Levi Harris, 97, retired farmer of Choudrant, died Thursday at 
Longleaf Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in 
Choudrant Methodist Church with Rev. Otis Spinks and Rev. Roy Grant 
officiating. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery under .direction of Spears 
Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Ollie Harris, Choudrant; two sons, 
Manard Harris, Jena, Evan J. Harris, Clay; five daughters, Mrs. Vada Lee 
Courtney, Mrs. Irene May, Mrs. Velma Reeves, all of New Orleans, Mrs. Vivian 
Talley, Olla, Mrs. Etha Spillers, Choudrant; twenty-five grandchildren, forty-
two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
