Interment will be in St. Rest Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Harrison died Monday, January 8, 2001 in Monroe following a lengthy illness. Mr. Harrison was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston. He served in the First National Guard and was employed with Louisiana Highway and Transportation for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Vera Harrison of Hilly, LA and by his wife Betty Lou Holstead Harrison. Survivors are his daughters: Kathy Harper of Lake Charles, LA; Liz Trant of Choudrant, LA; Patty Audirsch of Haughton, LA; Denise Wyles; and Angie Smith, both of Choudrant, LA; brother: Wallace Harrison of Ruston, LA; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Clint Trant, Robert Wyles, Brad Scoggins, Ben Scoggins, Chris Audirsch, and Billy Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Wyles, Tim Smith, Pat Harper, Reggie Trant and Robert Audirsch. Family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at the funeral home.
