	LAWSON MERRITT HINTON

RUSTON, LA. - Lawson Merritt Hinton, 79, retired Insurance Man of 605 Bonner 
Street in Ruston died early yesterday afternoon in the Ruston Hospital following 
a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Louise Sellers and Mrs. Marjorie Langston, 
both of Ruston; one son: Lawson Cloud Hinton (born August 27, 1906 - died January 
16, 1972) of Shreveport. 

My Notes: Mr. Hinton was born on June 10, 1881 in Clay, Louisiana. He was the son 
of Budd Hinton and Mattie Davis Hinton. On October 25, 1905 he married Della Kinman, 
born May 4, 1887 died April 9, 1962. Lawson and Della are buried in the Greenwood 
Cemetery in Ruston, La.
