	MRS. W. K. HINTON

Mrs. W. K. Hinton, Sr. of 2921 Catherine Street, Shreveport, La. died Monday 
night, September 23, 1963 at Willis Knighton Hospital following a lengthy 
illness. She was 66 years of age (born December 2, 1896)

Mrs. Hinton was a native of Ruston, but had resided in Shreveport since 1918. 
She was a charter member of Westminister Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband: Mr. Walter K. Hinton, Vice President of La. Bank 
& Trust; two daughters: Mrs. Cleo Jones and Miss Delores Hinton both of Shreveport, 
La.; and one son: W. K. Hinton, Jr. of Alexandria, La.; two sisters: Mrs. Bob 
McCrary of Ruston, La., and Mrs. H. A. Knox of Houston, Texas; and one brother: 
W. P. Ponder of Shreveport, La. 

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 1963 in the Chapel of 
Osborne Funeral Home with Rev. McNair Smith, pastor of Fairfield Ave. 
Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Park 
Cemetery in Shreveport.
