HOLSTEAD BORN November 17, 1905 died May 12, 1965 RUSTON (Special) Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston for J. D. Holstead, 59 of Monroe, who died Wednesday, May 12, 1965 in the V. A. Hospital at Alexandria after a long illness. Services will be held today and burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery near Choudrant. Mr. Holstead, a native of Choudrant was a World War II Veteran. Survivors include three sisters: Mrs. Elva H. Petters of Monroe, Mrs. Ruby H. Davis of Choudrant, and Mrs. Gerrude H. Baker of Ruston, and a brother, O. E. Holstead of Liberty, Texas.
