HOOD SUCCUMBS TO SHORT ILLNESS Mrs. Marie (F. M.) Hood, 54, of Greenwood Community, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital in Monroe following a short illness. Mrs. Hood was a native of Bienville Parish and a member of the Antioch Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday in Spears Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W. E. Parks officiating. Burial will take place in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Ruston. Survivors include her husband, F. Malcolm Hood, Sr. of Greenwood Community, three sons, F. Malcolm Hood, Jr of Monroe; James Eddie Hood of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jerry M. Hood of Lubbock, Texas; two brothers, W. Allen Perritt of Shreveport; and Neil Perritt of Shreveport; three sisters, Miss Myrtle Perritt of Shreveport; Mrs. Ralph Feazel of Ruston and Mrs. Paul Ghresh of Bryceland; and five grandchildren.
