Dorothy J. "Nita" Hornsby

Services for Dorothy J. "Nita" Hornsby, 74, of Ruston, will be held at
10 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2000, in the Kilpatrick Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Paul Brooks officiating.

Interment will be in Longstraw Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Hornsby died Thursday, February 24, 2000, in Ruston after a lengthy
illness.

Mrs. Hornsby was a member of Longstraw Baptist Church.  She was preceded
in death by her husband Thomas Hornsby, one daughter, Shirley D. Hill,
her parents Willie and Irma Foster and two brothers Albert and Earl
Foster.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy L. Hornsby of Haughton; one
brother, Billy Foster of Simsboro; five grandchildren, Aliscia Anderson
of Simsboro, Cindy Strickland of Raleigh, NC, Nita Futrell, Sheree
Futrell and James Futrell, all of Paragould, Ark.; six great -
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jimmie Davis, Michael Wasner, Steve Cranford, Edward
Kline, Mike Schieme and Ralph Foster.

Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
