BEN (BEULAH HINTON) JACKSON born August 13, 1868 died September 1, 1942 Funeral Services for Mrs. Ben H. Jackson of Vienna, who died suddenly at her home Tuesday afternoon were held this afternoon from the Vienna Methodist church, with the Rev. Moreland, pastor officiating. Interment was in the Vienna Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral home of Ruston. Mrs. Jackson was 74 years of age at the time of her death and was a native of Lincoln Parish, having been born in the Wesley Chapel Community near Ruston. Surviving are four sons: G. S. Jackson of Lecompte, Harry Jackson and Alton Jackson, both of Vienna, and Murray Jackson of Minden; four daughters: Mrs. C. W. (Pearl) Madden of Shreveport, Mrs. X. L. (Enna) Ball of Gilliam, La, Mrs. Ted (Doris) Andrews of Ruston, and Mrs. M. H. (Clara) Nobles of Hilly; two brothers: L. M. Hinton of Ruston, and Frank Hinton of Clay; four sisters: Mrs. Stewart Broadwell of Ruston, Mrs. Pearl Kavanaugh, Mrs. J. R. Kavanaugh and Mrs. Jesse Grigsby, the latter three of Clay.
