                    William Daniel Johnston

Graveside services for William Daniel Johnston, 75, of Ruston were
held at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2000 at Vienna Cemetery in
Vienna.

Burial was under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Johnston died Friday, January 14, 2000, at Lincoln General Hos-

pital after a brief illness.

He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and was a mechanic at
Early Chevrolet.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Johnston of Ruston; four
sons, Roy D. Johnston and wife Barbara of Ruston, Philip Johnston
and wife Nadine of Ruston, Paul Johnston of Chicago, Ill. and
Kurtis Johnston and wife Wendy of Fla.; two brothers, Calvin
"Buddy" Johnston and wife Earline of Clay and Roy Johnston and wife
Agnes of Ariz.; a sister, Lilly of Tacoma, Wash.; and three
grandchildren.
