Mattie Jones

Services for Mrs. Mattie Jones, 96, of Ruston, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, August
12, 2000, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston with Dr. Michael Hawley officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral
Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday, August 8, 2000, in Ruston following a brief illness.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Butler Jones; daughter, Frances
Collie; son, O.C. Bryan; twin sister, Orlen "Sis" Bearden.

Survivors include a daughter, Inez Sutton and husband Mack of West Monroe; son, Bobby
Jones and wife Diane of Houma; sister, Mae Brownlee of Marietta, Ga.; 15
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Gerald Griggs, Chad Holloway, Ben
Holloway, Bryan Collie, Kenny Wayne Griggs, and Kenneth Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2000, at the funeral
home.

The family would like to express a special thank You to the neighbors of Mrs. Jones
for their love and care.
