MONA HALL KILLGORE

Funeral services for Mrs. Mona Hall Killgore, age 85, of Bentonville, Arkansas, 
formerly of Ruston, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 
Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Hulen Warren officiating. Burial will 
follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial 
Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Killgore was born on September 6, 1928 in 
Clay, Louisiana to Marion B. and Lucy Hall. She passed away on September 24, 
2013 at the Gardens at Osage Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Bentonville, 
Arkansas.  Prior to her moving to Bentonville, Arkansas in 2010 she had been a 
lifelong resident of Ruston, Louisiana, where she was a homemaker and a former 
member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, 
playing cards and Scrabble, traveling, and spending time with family and 
friends. Mrs. Killgore is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 
years, Ellis M. Killgore; four sisters: Hazel Tubb, Mabel Francis, Bess Kunce, 
and Lucy Babb; and three brothers: Donald Hall, Harrell Hall, and Gene Hall. She 
is survived by three daughters: Deborah and husband Roy LaBorde of Hessmer, 
Louisiana; Louise and husband Richard Miller of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania;
Donna and husband Sam Pearson of Bentonville, Arkansas; five grandchildren: 
Angel and husband Sean Case of Ruston, Louisiana; Brandon Miller and wife Diana 
of Dallas, Texas; Christopher Miller of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Bailey and Paul 
Pearson of Bentonville, Arkansas; and one great-granddaughter, Sofia Miller of 
Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Owens Memorial Chapel from 4:00 PM 
until 6:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 and from 10:00 AM until time of 
service on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
