KING Willie B. King of 325 Kings Hwy, Shreveport, La. died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 1950 in the hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 1950 at Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Shreveport. Burial will follow in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport. Mr. King was born on January 18, 1892. He had previously resided in Ruston, La. and moved to Shreveport about 15 years ago. He was a retired employee of Standard Oil Company. (Had been employed by them for 30 years) Survivors include his widow: Annie Laura Brown King; two sons: William J. King of Ruston, and Lamont P. King of Lake Charles, La.; a grandson: Majors King of Ruston; two brothers: B. A. King of Bossier City, La., and J. H. King of Ruston; four sisters: Mrs. O. A. Hopkins, Mrs. Vernon Watley, Miss Pearlie King, all of Homer, La. and Mrs. W. B. Kinman of Ruston, La.
