A. Lane Dies at 8:10 This Morning; Was a resident of Lincoln Parish and Ruston for More than 30 Years; Funeral at 10 Thursday; Services Will be at Home with Interment at Greenwood Cemetery: Mrs. A. A. Lane, age 65, died at her home here at 8:10 this morn, after an illness of some duration. Mrs. Lane has been a resident of Lincoln Parish and Ruston for about 30 years, having lived in Jackson Parish previous to her residence here. Funeral services will be held at the home at 10 tomorrow morning with the Rev. H. L. Johns assisted by the Rev. R. W. Vaughn, in charge of the services. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: J. B. Kendall, Joe Baughman, Dr. H. Barnes, George Davis, Harry Broadwell, Mayor Charles C. Goyne, K. Hightower and Dr. John Thurmon. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. D. S. Calhoun and Stewards of the Trinity Methodist Church. She is survived by four daughters: Miss Mary Lane, of Ruston; Mrs. R. W. Ayers, of Ruston; Miss Doris Lane, of New York City; Mrs. C. C. Alley, of Ruston; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Upchurch, of Ruston: a grandson Robert Ayers, of Ruston. The Marbury Drug announced that it would be closed today and until noon Thursday as a gesture of respect to Mrs. Lane and her daughter, Mray Lane, who is employed there. B. F.
