The Ruston Daily Leader, Tuesday, July 13,1999 Lavena Chandler Lann Services for Lavena Chandler Lann, 83, of Ruston will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 1999 in the Temple Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev.Dale Oden, assisted by Rev. Clarence Powell. Interment will be in the Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Lann died July 12,1999 in Glenwood Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Lann served 40 years at Lewis & Company as a fashion and wedding consultant. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. M. Lann. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Katherine L. Gregory & hus-band, Donald W. of St. Joseph; five grandchildren, Donald W. Gregory, Jr and William Timothy Gregory, both of St. Joseph, Darryl Glenn Gregory of Monroe, Laura Lynn Gregory of Ruston and Donna Kay Gregory of Monroe; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Inez C. Price of Shreveport; sister & brother-in-law, Myrtis C. Orr & Virgil Orr of Ruston; a sister-in-law, Wilma 0. Lann of Ruston; a brother-in-law, L. J. Lann of San Marcos, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Greg Gregory, Tim Gregory, Darryl Gregory, Ron Weiland, Bill Hyams, and Dickie Crawford . Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Hyams and Brian Weiland. Any planned memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, Monroe 71203. Family will receive friends at Kilpatrick Funeral Home on Wednes-day between the hours of 5:30 and 8:00 p.m.
