                       Mary Lee McCalman
                                
 Services for Mary Lee McCalman, 77, of Bossier City will be at
10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14,1999 at Owens Memorial Chapel in
Ruston, LA. Officiating will be Mr. Charlie "C.  C." Courtney.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of
Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

 Mrs. McCalman died Thursday, August 12,1999 at Schumpert Medical
Center after a lengthy illness.  She was a retired restaurant
owner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris McCalman and one
son, Kenny Courtney.

 Survivors include one son, Charlie "C.  C." Courtney of Manhattan,
New York; one sister, Ida Mae McGirr of Bossier City, LA; and two
brothers, Virgil Woods of Burlson, TX and Delmar Woods of
Littleton, Co.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August l3,
1999 at the funeral home.
