J. H. Norris

Services for J. H. Norris, 73, of Ruston, will be held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, February  29, 2000, in Golden Funeral Home Chapel in Bastrop.
Officiating will be Rev.  Dick Day and Rodney Dew.

Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of
Golden Funeral Home, Bastrop.

Mr. Norris died February 26, 2000.  He was a retired store manager.  He
was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Norris.

Survivors include one daughter, Margie Dooley of Simsboro; four sons,
James Norris of Farmerville, Phillip Norris of Ruston, David Norris of
Marshall, Texas, and Paul Norris of Ruston; two sisters, Alma Barr of
Rayville, and Eunice Lowery of Bastrop; three brothers, Willis Freeland
of Monroe, Ray Norris and Earl Freeland, both of Bastrop; twelve
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Norris, James Norris, Jr., Marcus Norris, Jr.,
Jonathan Byrd, Shelby Barr and Willis Freeland, Jr.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
