Barry Joyner officiating. Burial will be in Tubbs Cem-etery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. He died March 3, 2000 in Ruston following a lengthy illness. Mr. Pilgreen was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a vet-eran of World War II. He was pre-ceded in death by four children, Louie Wayne Pilgreen, Charlotte Pilgreen, Terry Pilgreen and Mary Elton; and a special son-in-law, Lavon Brown. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary L. Pilgreen of Hico; one son, James Pilgreen and wife, Donna, of Dubach; two daughters, Liz Brown of Dubach and Wanda Houck and husband, Tommy, of Simsboro; six grandchildren: Tim Brown, Tammy Clark, Jennifer Smelley, Brandon Penix, Cara Houck and Jeremy Pilgreen; three great-grandchildren and numer-ous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Keith Lewis, Wayne Tanner, Dale Williams, Aubrey Goodwin, Wayne Morrow and David Larance, Honorary Pallbearers will be Curtis Tubbs and Anthony Yakabosky.
