               Funeral Today At Bonita for Rev. Ragsdale
  
RUSTON (Special) The Rev. W. F. Ragsdale, 77 year old retired Methodist
minister and resident of Bonita, died of a heart attack Monday in Talladega,
Alabama. 
  
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Bonita Methodist Church
conducted by Revs. E. W. Corley and Bryan Crosby.
  
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral
Home of Ruston. 
  
The Rev. Ragsdale is survived by his wife, Mrs. W. F. Ragsdale of Bonita; four
daughters:  Mrs. M. J. Fondos of Texarkana, TX, Mrs. W. B. Murff and Mrs. C.
L. Duck, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Anna Belle Simmons of Alexandria; three
sons: E. W. Ragsdale and George Ragsdale, both of Ruston, and C. W. Ragsdale
of Shreveport.
  
Pallbearers will be J. W. Montgomery, Oren Robinson, Claude Copeland, Fay
Hopkins, Vernon Slocum and Slim Rieves.
  
The remains will lie in state at Bonita Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until 10
a.m. Wednesday.
