(front page) Mother of Mrs. T. R. Upchurch dies Sunday:
	Mrs. Mary Frances Rape, age 85, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. 
T. R. Upchurch here at 7:40 Sunday morning. She moved to Ruston five years ago 
and was a member of the Methodist church.
	Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock this morning at her 
daughter’s home. Services were under the direction of Rev. H. L. Johns 
assisted by the Rev. R. W. Vaughan.
	The remains were taken overland by B. F. McLure and Co., funeral 
directors, to the Oak Ridge Cemetery where interment was made.
	Pallbearers were: Harvey Boyd, Sam Henderson, Alee May, D. G. 
Armstrong, Morton Kavanaugh, H.J. Nethkin, Joe Merrit, D. M. Fowler, David 
Cook, P. W. Mix and D. W. Cooper.
