Rasbury Succumbs; Rites Thursday" Mr. Allen Rasbury, 85, a retired farmer of Simsboro, died early this morning at Lincoln General Hospital following a short illness. The deceased was a native of Simsboro and a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services will be held at 2;30 p.m. Thursday in Simsboro Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmie Pyles, assisted by Rev. Paul; Cassel, officiating. Burial will take place in Simsboro Cemetery under direction of Conger Funeral Home of Arcadia. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Boddie Rasbury of Simsboro, two sons, A. W. Rasbury of Alexandria, F.L. Rasbury of Simsboro, two daughters, Mrs. Thera Waldron of Ruston and Mrs. D. L. Durrett of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Pesnell of Simsboro and Mrs. Myrtie Daniel of Roswell, NM; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L. P. Cranford, Ray Canterbury, Leroy Defreese, Clyde Lann, W. R. Sumlin, J. W. Alexander, Hulen Warren and John Huckaby.
