Ruston Daily Leader-Sunday, May 29, 1994 Mrs. Lula Revels. Funeral
services for Mrs. Lula Revels, 100, of Mineral Springs Community will be
held at 2 p. m., Sunday, May 29, 1994 at Mineral Springs Church with the
Rev. Joe Cannon and the Rev. Marvin Jones officiating. Burial will be
held in Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick
Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Revels died May 27, 1994 at Alpine Guest
Care Center in Ruston after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Revels was a member
of Mineral Springs Baptist Church where she was the organist, pianist
and Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a columnist for the
Ruston Daily Leader where she wrote the Mineral Springs Community news.
Mrs. Revels favorite pastimes were quilting and flower gardening.
Survivors include a son, Howard Revels of mineral Sprigs Community.; two
daughters, Lorell Wilson of Sharon Community, Elosie Nick of West
Monroe; twelve grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 17 great great
grandchildren. Mrs. Revels grandsons will be pallbearers.
