Interment will be in the Douglas Cemetery near Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Rinehart died Sunday, September 7, 1997, in Ruston. Mr. Rinehart was a native of Lincoln Parish and was a longtime member of Douglas United Methodist Church. He was also an Army veteran, having served in WWII. Mr. Rinehart was survived by his wife of 33 years, Marjorie Kimrey Smith Rinehart of Ruston; one daughter and her husband, India Strain and Doug of Ruston; two granddaughters, Lynn and Haley Strain of Ruston; three sisters, Doris Jones, Maxine Arlington [Arrington], and Louise White and her husband, Ed, all of Shreveport; one brother, Charles "Mack" Rinehart and his wife, Marylee [Marilee] of Shreveport; one stepdaughter, Linda Lillard of Coppel, Texas; nine nephews, four nieces and several cousins. Pallbearers will be Larry Baker, Thomas "Buddy" Rinehart, Neal Rinehart, Robert Sutherland, Claude Kimrey, and Eddie Parnell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Army Battery "F" 204th AntiAircraft Artillery. Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 1997, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
