Edgar Norris "Nig" Roberson

Services for Edgar Norris "Nig" Roberson, 73, of Dubach, were held
at 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Fellowship Baptist Church of
Dubach.  Bro.  Randy Lee officiated at the service.

Interment was in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Dubach
under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. 
      
Mr. Roberson died July 12, 2000, at Lincoln General Hospital.  He
was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and an avid outdoors man. 
He was a retired oil field worker, school bus driver, and farm
equipment salesman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ione Tubbs Roberson of Dubach; one
son, James Steven Roberson of Dubach; three daughters, Shelia
Byrnes Donaldson of Dubach, Lana Howard of Ruston and Carol Jean
Roberson Telford of Dubach; four grandchildren, Nathan Wilson,
Michelle Wilson Bergeron, Kerry Wayne Byrnes and Shana Telford; and
three great grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Kirstyn Wilson, and Ricky
Joe Bergeron.

Pallbearers were Tony Otwell, James Ray Watts, Harry Dean Murphy,
Fred Colvin, John Calhoun, Randy Roberson, Regan Colvin and Gary
Tubbs.

Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Jean Campbell, Ted Knowles, Jr. and
Grady Bagwell.
