Officiating will be Rev. Dale Oden, assisted by Rev. Clarence Powell. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Smith died Tuesday, November 23, 1999, in Ruston. He was a retired Lincoln Parish Bus Driver. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and veteran of World War II. He was also an active member of Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Causey Smith of Ruston, one daughter, Ancie Parkman and husband Don of Ruston; two grandchildren, Jason Parkman and wife Jill of Ruston and Carmon Parkman of Arlington, Texas. Two brothers, Roy I Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla, and Leroy Smith and wife Sybil of Ruston. Memorals may be made to the Temple Baptist Church Building Fund. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 1999, in the funeral home.
