Officiating will be Rev, Larry Emory. Interment will be in Riser Cem-etery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Snipe died March 13, 2000, in Ruston, after a brief ill-ness. Survivors include his wife, Emma Bayne Snipe of Ruston; two daughters, Buleah Hayes of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lillie Ann Hooten of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Steven Lee Bayne of Gilmer, Texas, Yvonne Pickels of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kim-berly Ann Barlow of Ruston; two brothers, Ed Snipe of Ruston, and John Wayne Snipe of Shreve-port; one sister, Arbell Harris of Columbia; and seven great grand-children, Elly Bayne, John Bayne, Jesse Bayne, Austin Bayne, Calvin Whitmore, Leah Pickels and Morgan La Prarie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at the funeral home.
